Do you handle hoarding situations?
We handle the hauling side: volume, sorting, carrying and disposal. What we do not do is biohazard remediation. If there is human or animal waste, decomposition, serious mould or an active infestation, that needs a licensed remediation contractor. We will tell you honestly which situation you have.
Will your crew judge the household?
No, and we take that seriously. Our crew works the job and does not comment. If the person living there is present, we follow their pace and their instructions about what gets looked at.
Can we go slowly, over several days?
Yes, and for most households that works far better than one overwhelming day. We can work in sessions, room by room, with breaks between.
What if the person changes their mind mid-job?
We stop. Nothing leaves without agreement. Forcing the pace damages trust and usually makes the overall situation worse, not better.
Do you look through things before disposing?
As much as you want us to. Some families want everything checked for documents and valuables, some want speed. Tell us which and we work that way.
How much does a hoarding cleanout cost?
It is volume work, usually many truckloads, so it is one of the larger jobs we do. We will not quote it without seeing it. A walkthrough costs you nothing and gets you a real number.
Can you work with a therapist or social worker?
Yes, and where one is involved it usually goes better. We take direction from whoever the family has coordinating.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Unmarked approach if you want it, no photos shared, no discussion of the property with anyone but you.
What about pests?
Tell us before we arrive. Light activity we can work around with the right protection. An active infestation needs pest control first, and we will say so.
